When you love hockey, you want to get better at it. Our Summer hockey camps are driven by a love for the game. That means a heck of a lot of fun alongside drills and games designed to push players to improve. We organize campers according to skill, so everyone can evolve at their own speed.

Through the hockey season, our coaches are either playing hockey, or they're running hockey development clinics. When your kid attends a Hockey Moves Summer Camp, they're benefiting from a team that's dialed in.

We want kids to enjoy being kids. To get really good at something takes dedication and commitment; pushing aside feelings of discomfort and keeping your eye on the prize. Our summer camps tap into some of this side of the sport, but we really prioritize the love of hockey.

Memorable Summer Hockey Camps
Hockey Moves Summer Camps are half-day programs offered across Simcoe Muskoka.
Our camps are filled with on-ice drills and games, and energetic dry-land programs; both are aimed at keeping your kids active, smiling, and getting better at hockey.
We split our camps into two age groups: 5-9 year olds and 10-14 year olds. Our younger kid's camps run in the mornings, with the older kid's camps running in the afternoons.
Our coaches take time ahead of our camps to plan groups and activities according to skill level, so each kid benefits from improving at their own rate.
Every camper goes home with a Hockey Moves practice jersey to remember their time at Hockey Moves Summer Camp.
Hockey Moves Summer Camp FAQs
Do your coaches help tie skates?
Yup! Tying skates and snapping helmet clips, our coaches expect to help younger players get prepped for ice time.
Should we show up early?
It's best if you show up at the program's listed drop-off time, so we're prepared for you and your camper.
How does check-in and check-out work?
Check-in: Find the Hockey Moves check-in table (usually the spot with the smiling staff and tunes pumping), and provide your child's name. Our staff will check them in.
Check-out: Your child's safety is very important to us. Please confirm with our staff before you leave with your child.
Can I stay and watch?
Absolutely! Some parents enjoy hanging out at the arena and watching their kids have fun on the ice––other's find it helpful to scoot out and run errands. You're more than welcome to do a mix of both throughout the week.
